Part 1 - Tropical Bathroom Lighting
I think I have island fever. That is, I need to go to a tropical island real soon. I keep thinking about coconuts and pineapples and warm seas and palm trees.
Well, that aint gonna happen anytime soon, so the next best thing is to write about the tropics. And since this is a Lamp web blog, I will write about the Tropical Bathroom Lighting category here at AffordableLamps.com. These Hinkley two, three and four light vanity fixtures come in brass, bronze and nickel varieties, and feature Hand-Blown Clear Optic Glass shades and use 75 watt medium base bulbs, or the compact fluorescent equivalent. If you live on an island, near the beach, or just like tropical dicor, then these pineapple shaped fixtures are a must for you. The Pearl bronze bathroom light is my particular favorite. Now, go have a daiquiri on me!
Part 2 - The Pineapple Express!
'Put the lime in the coconut and shake it all up.'
The Hinkley 447 GL mini pendant light is a tropical jewel, quite literally. This pineapple shaped pendant would make Thurston Howell III stand up and take notice. The aureate finish compliments the warmth of the crystalline glass shade perfectly to bring jewel delight and grand opulence to your home. It measure 6'deep by 49' high with antique gold leaf with beaded crystal accents and needs one 100 watt candelabra bulb. And for the meager price of only $158.00, you can live the life, without the hefty price. Now, pass me a daiquiri, please.
Part 3 - An Elephant never Fan Gets!
Ever go to the Elephant Bar Restaurant and wonder where they get their cool fans? No matter which locale you visit, they all have this cool tropical thing going on. And no fan epitomizes this more than the Treventi 3 Light Ceiling Fan with Yarn Blades - from Fanimation. As you can see by the photo, there is an elephant emblem featured on four side of the base of the fan. It features a 52' Blade Sweep, 18 Degree Blade Pitch, 80' Lead Wires, includes both remote and wall control with the control receiver in switch cup plus three forward and three reverse speeds And it is suitable for ceilings from 30 degrees - up to 52 degrees with additional slope adaptor. But you are asking, who buys a fan in the winter time? Well, you should, before prices go up in the spring, and to get a jump start on your summer time construction. But more importantly, to get that cool tropical feeling going on in your rumpus room, in the dead of winter. Live large, dude! And don't forget to close the Hatch!
